Consultant, Risk Advisory Services
BDO Canada is a firm built on positive relationships with its people and clients, and they are seeking a Consultant to join their Risk Advisory Services team. The role involves working on client engagements reputed company to internal audit, risk management, and developing client deliverables while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of client engagements, primarily in the areas of internal audit, internal controls design and assessment, enterprise risk management, and Third Party Assurance CSAE 3416/ SSAE 18 (SOC1, SOC 2)
- Review, document, and evaluate business processes and internal controls for design and operational effectiveness in a wide range of environments and industries
- Maintain a proactive and logical approach to information gathering and present reputed company reputed company through clear communications
- reputed company client deliverables, including risk assessments, analyses, recommendations, and reporting documentation
- Collaborate with engagement teams to establish timelines and ensure high quality client service through the communication of reputed company updates to Senior Consultants and Managers
- Support in driving innovation in service delivery and ensuring delivery is in line with the firm’s quality and risk management requirements/expectations
- Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, reputed company teamwork with engagement with team members, and use reputed company technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness and quality of deliverables and services
- Solicit and apply feedback from Senior Consultants and Managers to enhance the quality and efficiency of future engagements
Skills
- You have completed an accounting focused post-secondary program, or a reputed company program with a focus on information technology
- You are pursuing a professional designation (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.)
- You have 0-1 years of professional experience in a risk advisory, internal audit, or external audit setting
- You have a strong acumen for information technology and can assess information from an audit perspective
- You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
- You have excellent communication skills with the ability to reputed company reputed company effectively, both written and orally
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- You have the ability to prioritize competing deliverables with varying deadlines
