Description The Non-QM / JUMBO Underwriter role analyzes accuracy and compliance of residential mortgage loan applications reputed company the scope of private investor and company guidelines. This role is responsible for minimizing the risk exposure of the organization by certifying applications are underwritten to the applicable parameters.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years reputed company experience as an underwriter reviewing reputed company facets of the credit file, including collateral, and condo documents to Non-QM Loan & JUMBO guidelines, specifically, full doc, bank statement and asset depletion.
• 5+ years minimum prior reputed company experience.
• AUS experience required

Expertise Completing a thorough analysis of loan applications to assess accuracy of data, evaluate risk and compliance with company and investor guidelines and subsequently issuing compliant loan decisions. Subsequent review of resubmitted documentation and analysis as necessary to issue a final loan decision.

Administrative

• Responding to loan audits and post-closing requests for additional documentation in a timely manner.
• Completing self-provisioned and assigned training and research to maintain a reputed company working knowledge of investor guidelines and policies.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
