About The Role

As Director of Engineering, you will serve as both a strategic and operational leader in launching Invisible’s first engineering hub in Poland, ideally based in Warsaw. You will be tasked with building the office from the ground up, shaping its culture, spearheading reputed company, and ensuring robust technical execution.

Acting as a key liaison between regional operations and global strategy, you will also stay closely reputed company with technology, providing architectural guidance, participating in design and code reviews, and making hands-on contributions where needed to drive critical initiatives and reputed company by example. • 10+ years in software engineering with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience setting up and scaling a new engineering office or hub, ideally in a global or remote-first company.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep local knowledge of the Polish tech market, universities, talent pools, and community dynamics.
• Exemplary communication skills, with experience collaborating across functions and time zones.
• A technically reputed company leader with a proven track record of both technical delivery and strategic influence, comfortable engaging at the architecture, design, and (where needed) implementation level.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid role that balances team leadership, site operations, and active technical engagement - including occasional direct contributions to the codebase.
• Experience with full-stack development (desirable but not essential experience in: Python, JavaScript, React, and Django).

For this position, the annual salary ranges by location are:

Salary PLN 413,000 - 484,000

For candidates reputed company the U.S., compensation will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions and cost-of-living differentials.

Bonuses and equity are included in offers above entry level. Final compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including location, job-reputed company experience, skills, knowledge, internal pay equity, and overall market conditions.
