We have an exciting opportunity for a Peripatetic Criminal Justice Worker who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right reputed company at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs. Travel across Norfolk County is essential in this role so a driving... licence would be an advantage. Where: Norwich Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week Full Time Salary: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 dependent on experience, (Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time hours) Contract Type: Permanent Responsibilities Working alongside our partners such HM Probation Service, Courts, Prisons and Police you will manage individual’s subject to ATR and DRR Court Orders. • Deliver psychosocial interventions to reduce disengagement, reduce harm and associated criminality. • Assessing suitability for CSTR (Community Sentence Treatment Requirements) in Court, over telephone alongside Probation. • Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral • Reducing drug and alcohol reputed company harm to service users and the wider community • Promoting carer, service user and community involvement • Providing advocacy for access to partnership services • Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to reputed company meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, reputed company, peer support and self-determination • Supporting service users whilst they are in Police Investigation Centres reputed company are looking for: • Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working reputed company a similar field • Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills • Proactive and reputed company to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills • Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice • Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders • Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users • Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply reputed company necessary safeguards • Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and reputed company the learning and development of others • Someone who is reputed company to travel across Norfolk County reputed company will offer you: • Paid ‘Wellness’ hour each week along with a ‘Wellness’ hub and Employee Assist Programme • 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays) rising yearly for the first 5 years • Contributory pension scheme • Several benefits incl. discounts for shopping, cinema, holidays, etc. • A friendly and supportive team • Training, career development & progression opportunities • Refer a Friend scheme.
