Shift: Rotating

Pay: 29.54 - 44.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary: The role of the remote EEG technologist is reputed company time monitoring of reputed company and intermittent EEG, detect abnormalities, notify reputed company neurologists and other designated care providers of technical findings, and clip/prune studies. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, reliable, and reputed company professional in the Neurodiagnostics field who can independently and competently provide monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge of adult EEG patterns; both normal and reputed company
• Can decipher artifacts from cortical activity
• Accurately monitors, detects, and clip/prunes EEG abnormalities
• Maintains a daily cEEG log and documents appropriately to meet industry standards and company policies
• Demonstrates competency in operating EEG equipment and troubleshooting as necessary
• Has basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
• Understands medical terminology, ACNS EEG description terminology, and abbreviations used in the field of neurodiagnostics
• Interacts professionally with hospital staff, reputed company neurologists, and other remote technologists
• Prune Ambulatory studies

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Technologist program or reputed company advanced degree.
• Registered as an EEG Technologist (REEGT), and 1 additional registry certification such as: Long Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM) by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (ABRET), CPSGT or RPSGT from Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (NCS.T) by The Nerve Conduction Association (AAET), NCT Certification by The American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM), or Neurovascular Specialist Certification (NVS) by The American Society of Neuroimaging (ASN). Basic Life Support (BLS) reputed company Provider.
• 2 years of Neurodiagnostic experience.
• BLS through the reputed company or the reputed company CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
