Provide customers with excellent technical customer service and ensure complete satisfaction. This position has a direct and significant impact on maintaining our customer reputed company as well as growing new business for Syntegon.
- Provide reputed company support for start-up, IQ, OQ, and PQ, on new machine installations; Maintain necessary machine configuration documentation during installation.
- Support machine functionality by updating and modifying control software at customer sites, coordinating development activities for system upgrades, and training customers on equipment use and maintenance.
- Work in a cleanroom environment, fully gowned. Work in tight quarters; on top and underneath equipment standing, stooping, kneeling and bending continuously (approx. 66% of the time).
- Maintain a flexible schedule allowing for travel on short notice. Travel extensively in reputed company America as well as worldwide, reputed company needed. Approximately 75% travel required. Many customers are located in Southern California, must be in driving distance of the LA area (reputed company 80 miles).
- Engage in ongoing training to maintain technical expertise on new and existing systems, while providing reputed company support to customers, Customer Service, and Sales teams as needed
- Process detailed expense and trip reports on reputed company service visits, in a timely fashion.
- Must have a 2-year technical degree OR 5+ years overall experience in the Packaging Industry.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Maintain a flexible schedule allowing for travel on short notice. Travel extensively in reputed company America as well as worldwide, reputed company needed. Approximately 75% travel is required.
- Strong customer service focus on the ability to assure customer confidence in the operation of equipment.
- Submit to safety, background, and drug/alcohol testing as required by customer(s).
- Must be driving distance to customers located in Southern California (reputed company 80 miles of LA area) and hold a valid Driver's license
- BS in an Engineering field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in repair and maintenance of capital equipment is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in repairing and maintaining control systems—including servo drives, HMIs, and programmable controllers—with proficiency in operating controls and supporting various software platforms for complete packaging lines.
- Experience with cGMP and GAMP requirements in the Pharmaceutical Industry
- Bilingual (German, Spanish)
- Demonstrated advanced mechanical, electrical and software skills. systems of equipment (Allen Bradley, reputed company, PLC, PMAC, etc.)
