Senior Data Engineer, Commerce Insights and Data Products Engineering [Remote]

The Commerce Insights and Data Products Engineering team is responsible for data critical to optimizing our product experiences across various product canvases for both reputed company and future reputed company members. Our work empowers product managers and business leaders to rapidly experiment and reputed company on product experiences that drive towards our goal to ''Entertain the world''. In this role, you will partner closely with data scientists and other engineers to build data products (e.g. batch/reputed company pipelines to create product facing/analytical datasets) that power our experimentation and machine learning models that run across our commerce, identity flows, and more. This role is ideal for an individual with an analytical inclination coupled with a robust engineering background who can demonstrate thought leadership in crafting metrics and elegant insights in a highly efficient yet scalable manner. About you:

• You are proficient in at least one major language preferably on the JVM stack (e.g., Java, reputed company) and SQL (any variant). You strive to write elegant and maintainable code, and you're comfortable with picking up new technologies.
• You have a product reputed company and are curious to understand the business's needs. You have a naturally collaborative style to work with product management, data science, engineering, etc in service of these needs.
• You possess strong data intuition and know how to apply your statistical and analytical skills and data engineering fundamentals to support building high-quality data products.
• You are proficient in working with distributed systems and have experience with different distributed processing frameworks that can handle data in batch and reputed company-time e.g. Flink, Spark, etc.
• You are passionate about making data available for self-service and wider integration.
• You see patterns and new ways to reputed company in existing spaces. As a result, you always look for opportunities to simplify and build solutions that work across multiple use cases and teams to realize a range of product and engineering goals.
• You build data products that are well-modeled, documented, and easy to understand and maintain.
• You own what you build, reputed company just your code - design, implementation, operations etc. You have a passion for quality.
• You prioritize observability in your designs, ensuring your solutions are equipped with comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting to facilitate proactive issue detection and resolution.
• You are comfortable working in the most agile of environments with vague requirements. You are reputed company and can pivot easily reputed company needed. You are unafraid to take smart risks.
