Part Time Senior Customer Service Representative - Remote in San Antonio, TX

This position is part-time (20-25 hours/week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 5-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or additional hours. We offer 5 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday CST. • Review and research incoming healthcare claim calls from providers (doctors, clinics, etc) by navigating multiple computer systems and platforms and verifies the data/information necessary for processing (e.g. pricing, prior authorizations, applicable benefits)
• Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems
• Communicate and collaborate with providers to resolve issues, using clear, simple language to ensure understanding
• Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of: efficiency, accuracy, quality and attendance

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age OR Older
• Working knowledge with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and reputed company computer system applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience in a reputed company environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools
• Health care experience

The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment.
