POSITION SUMMARY This position transports employees in the Banner Children?s HealthMobile or Big Pink Bus Mobile Mammography Unit to various facilities and contracted locations and assists in providing patient care under general supervision from RN, APN, PA, or Physician. Ensures that the vehicle is maintained and stocked for reputed company to the patient population. CORE FUNCTIONS ? Operates an assigned vehicle in non-emergent situations and in varying weather conditions, providing safe, reliable, and timely transport to a designated reputed company of service. ? Provides medical care to designated pediatric or adult populations, which may include assessing patient condition, rendering appropriate care, administering medications and interventions. ? Performs general care and maintenance of vehicles (e.g. gas, schedules oil changes, tune-reputed company, washed, vacuumed, etc.). Performs daily vehicle inspections, completes and accurately inventories and inspects medical equipment, supplies, and medications assigned to the vehicle. ? Reports reputed company mechanical problems or concerns of the vehicle to the supervisor and maintains accurate log of vehicle runs and reputed company other vehicle activity. ? Maintains complete and accurate patient care reports (PCRs), prepares and maintains logs and/or other applicable records during assigned shifts. ? Monitors supply stock levels and reports needs. Notifies housekeeping, maintenance, biomedical engineering, and others to ensure proper equipment and a safe environment is maintained. Maintains appropriate levels of stock in medication room, exam room bedside carts, and specialty carts. Assists with health unit coordination tasks and reception responsibilities as needed. ? Facility-based position. Responsible for the timely delivery of services with a strong focus on customer service. Customers are staff, physicians, patients, family members, visitors, and multiple off-reputed company business offices. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge and AZDOT Medical Clearance Card. Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. In Arizona: Either Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) with state licensure, or EMT National registry certification is required for new hires and transfers. Must be able to operate a company-owned vehicle and possess a valid driver?s license and be eligible for coverage under the company?s auto insurance policy with an excellent driving record. Must be knowledgeable of the street layout and grid of the assigned locations. Ability to interpret verbal and written information/instructions and effectively communicate with others. Must demonstrate the ability to function effectively with minimal supervision in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Skilled in reading, writing, and comprehending English. Skilled in comprehending and following written and verbal instructions. Skilled in remaining reputed company in emergency situations. Skilled in operating a variety of modern office equipment. Skilled in operating a variety of ambulatory tools and equipment.
