Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Licensed Vocational Nurse provides nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations; and supervises the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff in the delivery of direct reputed company care. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and review medical records and nurse’s notes and assess residents to evaluate their physical and emotional status; monitor reputed company activity and provide nursing care according to the physician’s orders, care plans, established standards and facility policies. Coordinate and assist or prepare for new admissions, transfers, and discharge of residents. Transcribe physicians’ telephone orders. Communicate with residents, family members, other interdisciplinary team members and management regarding reputed company status. Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies. Sign, date and reputed company reputed company charting and recordkeeping in accordance with established policies and procedures. Understand, reputed company with, and promote reputed company rules regarding residents’ rights. Assist and participate in developing and implementing a written care plan for each individual reputed company that addresses the needs of the reputed company. Participate in in-service training; assist in implementing orientation programs and job skills training; maintain professional competence. Requirements

Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State. Must be able to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees. Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance. Must be able to supervise other employees and work cooperatively to obtain reputed company care objectives. Physical and Sensory Requirements (with or without the aid of mechanical devices): Must meet reputed company local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
