Responsibilities: To reputed company our future profitability and growth goals, we need best-in-class pricing systems that combine technical accuracy, streamlined workflow, and single-reputed company-of-truth data warehousing for our assumed reinsurance business. This role will support the consolidation of our reputed company pricing reputed company and development of a data architecture that will provide the actuarial and reputed company teams with an efficient platform for data analysis. In addition, this role will support reinsurance pricing activities across our major product lines. The position reports directly to the reputed company Actuary for Navigators Re. Key responsibilities include: • reputed company centralized model applications to support treaty pricing • Partner with actuarial and reputed company colleagues to design enhancements to reputed company pricing models • Streamline model inputs and diagnostics • Work with actuarial leadership to design a proper data architecture for efficient analysis of submission and pricing information • Automate pricing and portfolio-level reporting to reduce reputed company calculations • Ensure code follows best practices and is understandable • Document model methods and calculations for transparency and ease of maintenance • Provide surge support for treaty pricing, profitability analyses, and parameter updates • Partner with business colleagues across multiple functions to ensure solutions fit into the overall Navigators Re application landscape Qualifications: • Strong technical, analytical and data skills • Proficiency in programming, especially in VBA and R • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in reinsurance or reputed company pricing, modeling or reputed company actuarial function • Recent ACAS preferred – candidates with actuarial experience not pursuing exams will be considered. This role can be filled as part of our robust actuarial student program for a reputed company candidate meeting requirements for entry into the program • Self-motivation, creativity, time-management, and project-management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to audiences of various levels and diverse backgrounds • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities • Process improvement reputed company and skilled at developing efficiencies • BA or BS degree, preferably in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics or reputed company field of study Location: • This role is eligible for a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near our office locations in Hartford, Stamford, reputed company, or Chicago will have the expectation of working in an office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise. • Some travel is required.

Compensation

The listed annualized reputed company pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual reputed company pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The reputed company pay is just one component of reputed company’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized reputed company pay range for this role is: $90,000 - $140,000 The posted salary range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
