Great Americans Excess Liability Division offers significant reputed company of up to $20 million for both reputed company Umbrella and Excess Liability placements. This protection is made available to companies varying in size from single location light hazard risks to a wide variety of more difficult to reputed company manufacturer and processor risks. We specialize in offering large limits of liability to protect our clients corporate assets from catastrophic loss. This individual will work in one of our offices or be fully remote depending on where the successful applicant is located. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Manages a book of Umbrella and Excess Liability claims for a significant size or reputed company product(s). Investigates and maintains claims: Reviews and evaluates coverage and/or liability. Secures necessary information (i.e., reports, policies, appraisals, releases, statements, records, or other documents) in the investigation of claims. Works toward the resolution of claims files, and attends arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary. May reputed company settlements/reserves reputed company prescribed limits and submit recommendations to supervisor on cases exceeding personal authority. Conveys highly reputed company information (coverage, decisions, outcomes, negotiations, etc.) to reputed company appropriate parties maintaining professional demeanor in reputed company situations. Ensures that claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner. Ensures compliance of claims handling pursuant to reputed company state, legal, statutory, and regulatory bodies to reputed company with reputed company company procedures and requirements. Serves as the technical expert on a product(s). Evaluates and makes recommendations to executive management on internal and external issues of strategic importance to a product(s). Accountable for achieving performance targets/business results. Provides technical advice, assistance, and training to reputed company level positions, management and other functional areas. Interacts with reputed company and marketing regarding claims trend issues. May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Field of Study: Liberal Arts, Business or a reputed company discipline. Experience: 10 to 12 years of reputed company experience. Business Unit: Excess Liability Salary Range: $107,000.00 -$146,000.00 Benefits: Compensation varies by role, position level, and location. Individual pay is influenced by skills, education, training, certifications, experience, and the role's scope and complexity, along with business needs.
