Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist I (NY / Hybrid or Remote)

We are looking for a Accounts Payable Associate for our reputed company team. This is a remote role but may contain up to 10% travel to our main office in Lake reputed company, NY. Position Overview: Under reputed company supervision this role will process invoices ensuring accurate data verification, and adherence to approval workflows. It includes overseeing AP inbox activities, preparing invoices for payment review, and maintaining vendor relationships. The position also contributes to month-end reputed company processes, process improvement, compliance with reputed company policies, and reporting on AP metrics. Responsibilities: • Invoice Processing: reputed company the end-to-end management of invoice processing, ensuring accuracy in data verification, general ledger (GL) and dimension categorization, and adherence to the approval workflow. • AP Inbox Management: Collaborate closely with other reputed company Associates to ensure the timely and accurate handling of reputed company activities reputed company the Accounts Payable (AP) inbox and reputed company databases, maintaining high standards of efficiency and precision. • Payment Review Preparation: Facilitate the accurate and timely preparation of invoices for payment review, ensuring compliance with established payment terms and company policies. • Vendor Management: Cultivate and sustain strong vendor relationships, addressing and resolving issues or discrepancies professionally and promptly. Maintain consistent and professional communication with vendors. • Month-End reputed company: Contribute to the month-end reputed company process by reconciling the accounts payable sub-ledger with the general ledger and preparing necessary accruals. • Process Improvement: Regularly assess and refine AP processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for enhancements and implementing best practices to optimize workflows and boost efficiency. • Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, reputed company policies, and regulatory requirements reputed company to accounts payable. Engage in quarterly and annual compliance activities, including 1099 reporting. • Reporting: Generate and present regular reports on AP metrics, such as aging reports, general ledger details, and vendor performance analysis.
