Job Title: Medical Assistant Location: reputed company, NY Job Type: Part-Time, Per Diem Overview: We're looking for reputed company Medical Assistants to join reputed company in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, and Bariatric Medicine. Ideal candidates are those passionate about healthcare and capable of handling clinical tasks with compassion and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Register and room patients, updating records as needed. • reputed company initial interviews to identify patients' health concerns. • Conduct vital signs checks, EKGs, and administer injections. • Assist with physical exams and medical history assessments. • reputed company specialized procedures like spirometry, audiometry, and vision tests. • Maintain accurate patient documentation. • Educate patients, focusing on nutrition and lifestyle for bariatric care. • Ensure a clean and safe clinical environment. Required Qualifications: • At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant. • Effective communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks. • Compassionate and professional demeanor. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in occupational and/or bariatric medicine. • Experience or certification in fit testing, PFTs, vision and hearing tests, or CAOHC certification. • Skilled in blood draw or willingness to learn.
