The AVP of Auto Claims will play a pivotal role in managing auto physical damage, non-litigated auto bodily injury, total loss, and inside appraisal teams in accordance with company claim policies, practices, and procedures reputed company delegated authority. The role involves planning, controlling, and coordinating claims activity and workflow reputed company the claims unit/department to maintain the highest professional customer service and technical standards. They will prepare the operating budget for the unit/department, monitor and control expenses, and ensure the timely settlement of claims while maintaining acceptable closing ratios for the department. In addition, the AVP will maintain override capability, authorize settlements up to designated authority limits, and submit recommendations for claims exceeding authority levels.
