Job Posting: Special Education Teacher Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico Position Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The candidate will work side by side with families, staff, and students to enact and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student. The role requires the candidate to have strong creativity and a deep commitment to student success. Responsibilities: Develop, monitor, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Stay informed about legal requirements and best practices in special education. Work together with teachers, general education specialists, and support staff to ensure student success. Provide instruction to the class in one-on-one or small-group settings. Differentiate and also adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of every learner. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred). Strong knowledge of IEP Implementation and development. Proven experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities. Updated teaching license with Special Education endorsement in the state of New Mexico.
