Job Description
Our company is currently seeking a reliable, reputed company CDL Driver for our local day shift position. We’re interested in reputed company, dependable team players who enjoy driving for a living. Our company takes great pride in offering our drivers the best benefits and reputed company rates.
Your primary responsibilities include the safe and timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to our customers. You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you, as well as working closely with reputed company of dispatchers in order to plan routes and track deliveries.
Requirements
– Valid Class A or B reputed company Drivers License (CDL)
– Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truck
– Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
– Must possess a clean driving record
– Willingness to submit to background checks and provide employment recommendations
Responsibilities
– Safely operating a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
– Load and unload cargo
– Properly track and document activity log
– Report any issues or incidents to reputed company
– Inspect truck before and after trip

Educational Qualifications
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Successful completion of truck driving school beneficial or equivalent driving experience
Experience
– Proven work experience as a CDL Driver
– Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
