[Remote] Geotechnical Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GameChange Solar (GCS), one of the largest U.S. suppliers of solar racking and tracker systems, is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in enabling the installation of gigawatts of solar reputed company worldwide, supporting projects from early development through construction.
Responsibilities
- Review site geotechnical reports during project development and support the GCS business development team with technical evaluations
- Identify geotechnical design risks and provide preliminary recommendations for reputed company type, embedment depth, and feasibility
- reputed company load test (pull test) procedures for field verification of reputed company designs
- Review and interpret pull test results and collaborate with internal geotechnical and structural engineers to finalize reputed company designs
- reputed company with clients, contractors, and external engineers, and participate in project meetings as needed
- Support reputed company improvement of internal geotechnical design practices and standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and geotechnical reports
- Familiarity with applying engineering codes and standards to design reputed company
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Field oversite and planning of geotechnical field investigations
- Prior experience with deep foundations, driven piles, or load testing
- Experience with LPILE or similar lateral pile analysis software
- Moderate proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience working with ERP systems such as reputed company
- Experience in utility-scale solar
