We are hiring a Brand Manager to lead account strategy, own client relationships, and drive performance across a portfolio of brands. Position Overview The Brand Manager is the primary lead on assigned accounts and owns two things in equal measure: the media strategy that drives client results, and the client relationship that drives retention and growth. This is a strategist and advisor role, not a campaign execution role. In-platform media buying is handled by our execution team. The Brand Manager designs the strategy, directs that execution, and is accountable for hitting client goals. The ideal candidate thinks strategically about digital media, builds strong client relationships, understands how each channel works well enough to design and direct a winning plan, and can translate performance data into business outcomes clients care about.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

  • Design the digital media strategy for each account against client goals and objectives
  • Translate business goals into channel selection, budget allocation, audience strategy, and consumer journey mapping
  • Build campaign briefs from client offers, brand guidelines, and creative direction
  • Direct execution through the media execution team and supporting roles. The Brand Manager architects the plan, the execution team builds and runs it
  • Maintain command of platform principles and mechanics across Google, Meta, and emerging channels, enough to design strategy and direct execution with authority
  • Stay ahead of platform changes and evolve account strategy to match

Client Relationship and Success

  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned clients
  • Build deep understanding of each client's business, goals, challenges, and growth opportunities
  • Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers

Client Success and Retention

  • Proactively monitor client health and satisfaction
  • Lead business reviews and strategic planning sessions
  • Ensure clients understand campaign performance, ROI, and business impact
  • Identify retention risks early and build action plans before concerns escalate
  • Drive client renewals and long-term partnerships

Performance Management and Optimization

  • Own account performance against client goals and revise strategy when targets are not being met
  • Provide final review and approval on optimization recommendations rolling up from analysts and the media execution team
  • Set and maintain the optimization cadence based on best practices for each channel
  • Translate campaign data into meaningful business insights and client-facing wins

Growth and Expansion

  • Identify opportunities to expand services and increase account value
  • Recommend additional solutions based on client needs and performance opportunities
  • Collaborate with agency leadership on account growth strategies
  • Contribute to agency revenue retention and expansion goals

Brand Stewardship and Creative Oversight

  • Protect each client's brand style and guidelines across every execution
  • Review creative concepts internally before they reach the client
  • Interpret client feedback and direct revisions to keep work on brand and on strategy

Onboarding and Team Leadership

  • Lead new account onboarding, including measurement framework, audience planning, and consumer journey mapping alongside the analyst
  • Direct project managers, analysts, media execution, and creative to keep work on scope and on time
  • Communicate client expectations clearly across the internal team
  • Operate within Uniquely Digital's methodology, blueprint system, and project tools

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years in digital media strategy, account management, client success, or agency services
  • Strong command of digital advertising channels including Google and Meta, and the principles behind effective strategy, enough to design and direct without executing in platform
  • Ability to translate client goals into media strategy and turn performance data into actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities

Qualifications

Preferred

  • Experience in a digital marketing agency environment
  • Hands-on familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, programmatic platforms, CRM systems, and reporting tools
  • Experience conducting executive-level business reviews
  • Proven track record of client retention and account growth

  • Own and present account strategy with confidence in client reviews
  • Identify growth opportunities across your client portfolio
  • Become a trusted strategic advisor to clients and an internal advocate for their success
