Remote Freelance Graphic Designer – Packaging
Join an exciting opportunity to shape the visual identity of a new consumer cleaning brand entering the US market. As a freelance graphic designer, you will refine and elevate packaging designs for our hero product, focusing on typography, layout, and production-ready files. This role is ideal for a designer passionate about consumer brands and eager to contribute to a fast-moving startup environment. You will collaborate closely with founders who have already established the brand direction and initial mockups, ensuring the final packaging stands out on shelves and meets print production standards. There is potential for ongoing collaboration as the brand grows beyond this initial project. Deliverables
- Refine existing packaging concepts and mockups for a CPG cleaning product
- Enhance typography, layout, and overall visual hierarchy for maximum shelf impact
- Prepare and deliver production-ready files suitable for print and label manufacturing
- Ensure all designs meet technical requirements for bottle packaging and large-scale production
- Collaborate with founders to iterate on feedback and align with brand vision
- Provide guidance on materials, finishes, and print specifications as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience designing packaging for consumer brands, preferably in CPG or cleaning products
- Strong portfolio showcasing print, label, or packaging projects
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Solid understanding of print production processes and file preparation
- Excellent eye for typography, color, and layout
- Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
- Availability for immediate start and potential for ongoing work
