Skill Set: Requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the construction industry and understanding of multi-family framing components. 2-3 years of experience as a construction estimator, multi-family project superintendent or foreman, or framing contractor required. Working knowledge (or at least familiarity) with takeoff software (Planswift) and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks in a timely manner without direct supervision. Employee must be U.S. based Day to Day: The MF Estimator position works remotely and reports to the Director of Estimating. Responsible for review and analysis of blueprints and specifications, performing takeoffs and generating bill of material reports for lumber, framing hardware and other assigned scopes of work for multi-family and all other assigned projects in a timely manner. Communicates directly with our Project Managers and other employees to answer questions and provide takeoff revisions when required for change orders.
