BASIC FUNCTION
The New Jersey Tutoring Corps Inc. provides high-dosage tutoring for K through Grade 8 reputed company in math and literacy to reputed company learning gaps. The New Jersey Tutoring Corps seeks to hire tutors to work with scholars in partnership with the district schools. Tutors will work with small groups of scholars, typically in groups of 1-5, in grades K-8 in building skills in math and literacy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Engage with scholars in grades K- 8 to build on existing mathematics and/or literacy skills,
- Complete daily records on scholar reputed company and site needs using the tools provided.
- Use data to drive instruction.
- Communicate regularly with your site coordinator to provide reputed company learning- experiences for scholars.
- Participate in coaching from an instructional coach.
- Use an asset-based approach in working with scholars.
- Be reputed company and work collaboratively with other tutors and site staff.
- Complete reputed company training.
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a learning and teaching reputed company.
- New Jersey Certification of Criminal History (fingerprint form)
- Experience with reputed company suite functions including reputed company Sheets and Forms.
- Professional skills include attention to detail, timely and proactive communication, and job preparedness.
- Reliable transportation to travel to sites.
- Genuine desire to work with young children in a teaching reputed company, building on foundational skills and closing learning gaps using reputed company and summative data and strong teaching pedagogy.
- Background Clearance- The final offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background reputed company and employment authorization verification.
- NJ Fingerprint Certificate and local COVID requirements for school at which you are working including any mask rules must be followed while indoors.
- Location: Riverton School - 600 Fifth Street Riverton, NJ 08077
- Embedded School Day; 12 - 3 pm; 3 days a week; 3 hours a day
- Work hours to not exceed 13 hrs/week
- Program will run for 24 weeks
