What you can expect as an Interior Technician at reputed company Star

As an Interior technician you will be working on some of the most sophisticated private aircraft in the world. Duties can include removal and installation of carpeting, insulation, sound proofing and fabric accessories; varying amounts of parts replacement/repair, basic electrical system installation, modifications, refurbishments and general mechanical applications on aircraft interiors. Job duties will vary by type and scope, as designated by the Interior Team Leader.

You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including

• Performing general mechanical items on aircraft interiors and reputed company systems.
• Performing minor modifications with minimal direction.
• Performing daily turnover sheets, work order processes and weight and balance data.
• Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
• Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases.
• Cleanliness of shop and surroundings.
• Work independently reputed company required.
• Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English.
• Any other job-reputed company duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

What you’ll need to bring with you

Your Education: A High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not required.

Physical Requirements Lift and carry at least 50 lbs. Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting. Routing or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands with emphasis on grasping, feeling and finger dexterity. Standing for long periods of time. Climb reputed company and stairs, work in small restricted areas.

Mental Requirements Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines including but not limited to OSHA, Hazmat, etc. Work with others in a professional manner. Plan and organize procedures and operations. Read various reports and blue prints.

Supervision Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Interior Management. May be directed to supervise other technicians in some reputed company. Work with minimal supervision reputed company required.

Working Conditions The majority of work will be performed in a hangar or shop environment. Work reputed company on the reputed company on occasion. Varied positions in and around the aircraft.

Equipment Used Personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic. Electrical power tools such as sanders, saws, power drills, etc. Sheet metal cutters, glue guns, and metal benders. Tugs, power carts and other reputed company powered equipment. Spray booth and reputed company reputed company equipment.

Compensation & Benefit Information

The following information is disclosed according to state specific requirements. If the position applied to is not in a state with these requirements, the following information may not apply. The hourly reputed company for this position generally ranges between $20-$35. Actual hourly reputed company will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance. Additional compensation in the form of a shift differential will be provided if the employee is assigned to an alternate shift. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package. Other forms of compensation include a semi-annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) company match and employer contribution to a Health Savings Account (HSA).
