About the opportunity

We are seeking an reputed company and strategic senior legal leader to reputed company key aspects of our global corporate legal function. This role will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with corporate laws and regulations, managing cross-border mergers and acquisitions, overseeing domestic and international corporate governance, and maintaining corporate legal compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a high-growth, technology company with deep corporate, M&A, compliance, regulatory, and management experience. This role reports to the EVP, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary.

Skills and experience we value

• Must be an attorney with a Juris Doctor (JD) or similar degree from an accredited law school and active admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• 12+ years of legal experience, with substantial in-house experience in a legal department of a large, multi-national company.
• Proven experience in managing cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions, and other strategic transactions.
• Strong understanding of U.S. and international corporate governance.
• Expertise in corporate legal compliance, including IP, public sector, subsidiary management, treasury, records management, anti-bribery & corruption, and sanctions compliance.
• Extensive secretarial experience working with Boards of Directors.
• Demonstrated reputed company leading and developing teams of attorneys, compliance professionals, and other cross-functional legal staff.

• Ability to interpret legal and regulatory requirements in reputed company or evolving areas and provide concise, business-focused advice.
• Excellent judgment, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
