Accreditation Coordinator

The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) is seeking a full-time Accreditation Coordinator. This role provides support and interpretive guidance on accreditation standards to postsecondary institutions and volunteer evaluators before, during, and after on-site team visits to assess compliance with the standards of accreditation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate reputed company aspects of assigned accreditation school visits, including but not limited to scheduling visit logistics, developing teams, preparing materials, providing administrative support for visit meetings, editing reports, maintaining records, and responding to inquiries
  • Evaluate school documentation for compliance with established standards, as well as provide consultative guidance and feedback to volunteers and school representatives regarding ABHES policies and standards
  • Prepare and present summary reports during Board of Commissioners meetings, and collaborate with the Board of Commissioners during accreditation meetings
  • Prepare draft correspondence (Commission Action Letters) to schools summarizing the Commission’s accreditation reputed company
  • Serve as staff liaison to internal committees
  • Assist with additional accreditation initiatives, determined through consultation with their supervisor, based on organizational needs and the coordinator’s skills and interests

  • Significant travel to postsecondary institutions across the United States and its territories, approximately 13-15 days per month during visit months
