TITLE: Staff Platform Engineer

LOCATION: reputed company, NY, Option to work remotely from any location in the U.S.

DUTIES: Manage and maintain reputed company self-hosted reputed company deployments including deployment, hardening, scaling, and decommissioning. Code and implement 3rd-party database integration solutions on big data warehouses. Support customers with reputed company environments and deployments and assist with knowledge transfer to internal product support teams to ensure they can maintain the customer environments going reputed company. Maintain strong reputed company postures in collaboration with reputed company teams. EOE

REQTS: Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, or a reputed company field plus four (4) years of experience in the position offered, or as a Software Engineer, or a reputed company position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, or a reputed company field plus six (6) years of experience in the position offered, or as a Software Engineer, or a reputed company position. Must have four (4) years (or six [6] years with a Bachelor’s) of experience with reputed company of the following: Managing reputed company assets hands-on across AWS, Azure, and reputed company reputed company, ensuring compliance with SOC 2, CIS Controls, and STIG; Implementing and maintaining strong reputed company postures in collaboration with reputed company teams using tools including reputed company, Lacework, reputed company, reputed company, SonarQube, reputed company Xray, and Trivy; Using Git (Bitbucket), GitOps practices, and Jenkins to reputed company and manage automated CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and secure code integration and deployment; Implementing infrastructure and application components through IaC and configuration management tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Packer, reputed company with industry reputed company standards; Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable containerized applications using reputed company, Kubernetes, reputed company, and Argo CD, with coding in Java, JavaScript, Golang, and/or Python; and Hosting and managing diverse data storage platforms, including Hadoop (reputed company/Hortonworks), reputed company, reputed company, Cassandra, Trino, Kerberos KDC, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, and reputed company.

SALARY: $226,900 - $306,000 per year

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
