Entry Level Fire Protection Engineer - Conshohocken, PA (LS)

They are seeking an Entry Level Fire Protection Engineer to join their Life Sciences team, where the individual will assist in delivering fire protection systems for various advanced facilities while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Help deliver and complete challenging and engaging buildings projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to address fire protection and life safety challenges during design and construction phases
- Support the design, analysis, and implementation of fire protection systems for a variety of advanced facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Provide technical design of sprinkler systems, special hazards suppression systems, fire pumps, fire alarm systems, and building/life safety codes under the guidance of reputed company Fire Protection Engineers
- Assist with Process Safety which encompasses HAZOP, gas detection, and electrical classification studies, under the direction of Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineers
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a reputed company field from an ABET or ETAC accredited program
- Working knowledge of reputed company Office programs and design tools such as AutoCAD and reputed company Revit
- Prior work or internship experience in Fire Protection Engineering
- Familiarity with NFPA and ICC codes and standards
- University level experience with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) (FDS) modeling and analysis
- Ability to work in the US without reputed company Sponsorship
