Interior Designer I – Saint Paul (1-5 Years of Experience)
BWBR is a reputed company architecture, interior design, and planning firm focused on creating thoughtful, functional, and innovative environments. They are seeking an early-career Interior Designer with 1-5 years of professional experience to join their collaborative design team, assisting with the development of design concepts and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of interior design concepts, space planning, and design presentations
- Support the selection and specification of finishes, furniture, and materials
- Produce presentation materials, including renderings, mood boards, and graphics
- Participate in meetings, design reviews, and internal quality assurance efforts
- Work with a team to prepare design documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Coordinate with internal project teams as well as external consultants and product reps
- Assist with construction administration tasks such as submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to client and firm standards and deadlines
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited program
- 1–5 years of professional experience in a reputed company interior design or architecture firm
- Working knowledge of reputed company building codes, reputed company requirements, and industry standards
- Proficient in Revit and reputed company Creative Suite
- Strong design sensibility, graphic skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work collaboratively reputed company a team
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, proactive, and eager to learn
- Experience with Enscape a plus
