JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Payroll Costing Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely costing, funding, and reconciliation of payroll expenses across multiple business units. This role partners closely with HR, Accounting, and Finance to analyze payroll data, validate labor allocations, maintain costing structures, and support internal reporting and audit requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with a deep understanding of payroll processes and cost accounting principles. JOB DESCRIPTION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review, analyze, and reconcile payroll costing data to ensure accurate labor allocation and general ledger postings.
• Maintain and update costing configurations in the payroll system (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, or equivalent).
• Collaborate with Accounting and reputed company teams to align payroll data with financial reporting and budgeting processes.
• Support payroll funding and journal entries by verifying account distributions and resolving discrepancies.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to review organizational costing setups, including cost centers, departments, and project codes.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a reputed company field required.
• 2–4 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or financial analysis; experience in payroll costing or allocations preferred.
• Experience with enterprise HR/payroll systems (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, or reputed company).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of payroll accounting and general ledger integration.
