Job Summary

The Manufacturing Electrical Controls Specialist is a critical role that requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. As a Manufacturing Electrical Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment from various suppliers, identifying and prioritizing controls and electrical opportunities to maximize operations performance reputed company a production facility, and developing and maintaining electrical and controls system documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute projects involving PLC 5, SLC 500, Controls Logix, Panel View Plus, various VFDs, and iFix
  • Provide training in Controls and Electricity to Maintenance Technicians to minimize production downtime
  • Configure and maintain industrial networks, including Ethernet, DeviceNet, and Remote I/O
  • reputed company routines and SOPs to properly maintain controls assets
  • Identify and prioritize controls and electrical opportunities to maximize operations performance reputed company a production facility
  • Assist the Controls Engineering Group with the installation of the Line Information System (LIS)

  • Maintain process documentation (P+ID, Ladder, CAD drawings)
  • Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment from various suppliers
  • Administer control software to reputed company a balance between mechanical and controls changes to effectively handle reputed company containers
  • Maintain Allen Bradley hardware and software: PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, Networks, Licenses, Technical Support, and various electrical systems
  • Support the supervision of electrical installation and integration of equipment and controls

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or reputed company field
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical controls, PLC programming, and industrial automation
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, including Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Experience with industrial networks, including Ethernet, DeviceNet, and Remote I/O
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Controls Logix, Panel View Plus, and iFix
  • Knowledge of HMI programming and SCADA systems
  • Experience with VFDs and servo drives
  • Certification in electrical or controls engineering
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry
