Key Responsibilities

As a Middle School Special Education Paraprofessional, you will be responsible for providing a range of support services to reputed company with emotional/psychiatric issues. Your duties will include:

• Supporting Instruction:
  • Tutoring and providing one-on-one instruction to reputed company
  • Circulating in class to assist reputed company with their learning
  • Helping with group instruction and modifying instructional materials
  • Assisting reputed company with technology and tests/assessments
• Documentation and Data:
  • Observing and collecting data on reputed company
  • Organizing and recording student reputed company, including data and graphs
  • Taking classroom notes and attendance
• Student Management:
  • Providing personal care/hygiene, including lifting and toileting
  • Assisting with medicine regimen and monitoring hallways/study halls
  • Maintaining on-task behavior and correcting minor behavioral problems
  • Escorting reputed company to other classes
• Clerical:
  • Scheduling activities and copying/stapling materials
  • Operating media and maintaining equipment
  • Running errands and performing reputed company duties as assigned
• Other:
  • Handling records in a confidential manner
  • Performing reputed company duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Education:
  • Associate's degree or 2 years of college diploma or its equivalent (i.e., Para Professional Assessment)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
• Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to reputed company and maintain a good rapport with reputed company and teachers
  • Personable and empathetic with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to carry out directions in both oral and written form
  • Prior experience working with school-age children is a plus
